Reflecting on his career Ralston said it was the people involved who kept him coming back year after year.
“I have enjoyed watching many of our umpires develop from quiet and shy kids to become confident and assured young people through to being mature adults.”
“To all our newer and up coming umpires I hope enjoy your time with the association and stay around in a great environment.
“Along the way learn some great life skills and have the best seat in the house on game day.”
